Storefront Licence Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These Storefront Licence Conditions govern all commercial purchases, digital book unlocks, and account tier subscriptions completed via the Audio Realm mobile application wrapper or official decoupled website storefront.

1. Digital Streaming Licences Only

No Download Provision: When you purchase an audiobook or media asset from our catalog, you are paying exclusively for a restricted, personal license to listen to that item.

App Gated Playback: Content is decrypted and delivered via real-time platform streaming paths (/api/purchases/stream). The platform does not provide raw media file downloads (such as downloadable MP3s) to your local hardware or third-party players.

2. Definite No-Refund Policy

Instant Fulfillment Waiver: Because checkout transactions instantly execute writes to your database subcollection (purchasedTracks) and unlock immediate streaming capabilities, all sales are final.

Statutory Compliance: By confirming your purchase at checkout, you explicitly request immediate access to the digital goods and acknowledge that you lose any legal right to a refund, withdrawal period, or cooling-off frame once the content is unlocked on your account registry.

3. Price Manifest Errors and Transaction Cancellation

Typographical or System Glitches: The storefront relies on automated price manifest strings stored within cloud buckets. In the event of a system error, database mismatch, or typographical glitch resulting in an asset being listed at an incorrect price (including £0.00 entries), the platform developer retains the absolute right to cancel the order.

Access Revocation: If a transaction is processed without matching the true, authorized catalog ledger, the developer reserves the right to fix the pricing manifest, cancel the transaction, and deny or revoke database access to any unlocked tracks immediately. If you didn't pay the intended value, you don't get to keep the media.

4. Subscription Tiers, Downgrades, and Data Integrity

Subscription Failure: Upgrading to premium account tiers expands your workspace boundaries and storage thresholds (maxStorageBytes). If you choose to cancel a recurring premium subscription, or if a payment fails to clear via Stripe or Google Play Billing, your profile status slides down to the entry Basic tier at the close of the current billing cycle.

Storage Wipe Enforcement: Sliding down to a lower tier strictly triggers capacity enforcement. If the total bytes of files stored inside your private personal cloud locker exceeds the basic limit, the platform will systematically wipe stored files to restore compliance. To protect your data integrity and keep your files intact, you must maintain active, in-date billing states.

Standalone Assets Unaffected: Digital books purchased individually as distinct standalone catalog keys stay unlocked on your profile forever, regardless of your active account subscription tier.

By completing a checkout transaction or entering billing details on this platform, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to these storefront conditions.
