Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy details how the Audio Realm application, storefront website, and real-time synchronization architecture handle, process, and protect user data parameters. This platform is built and maintained by an independent developer, with a strict commitment to minimizing user data collection.

1. Data Collected Upon Registration

To keep account management lightweight and secure, the platform limits profile creation variables to basic identifiers managed via Firebase Authentication:

Manual Profiles: We process your manually entered Username and Email Address.

Aesthetic Anchors: String configurations used to deterministically generate user icons (such as cross-platform DiceBear seed values) are saved to your document registry. Raw image files are not processed or uploaded to platform hardware.

2. Ephemeral Audio Processing Policy

Zero Caching or Storage: Virtual rooms use transient memory via LiveKit WebRTC signaling bridges to sync real-time microphone streams for active participants.

Complete Ephemerality: Spoken voice communications are processed entirely in-memory and fluctuate locally. Audio Realm does not record, log, cache, or intercept voice waveforms on permanent physical disk spaces or server log tables.

3. Presence States & Invisible Controls

Status Syncing: To run synchronized playback triggers and the collaborative Friends List, the database updates active connection tags (online, offline, or in-room) along with high-entropy room NanoID tokens.

Invisible Mode Gating: The interface includes a user-controlled "Invisible Mode" toggle. Activating this state halts live database presence updates. While enabled, your profile data remains hidden from public visibility layouts and mutual friends charts.

4. Personal Storage Lockers

Isolated Namespaces: User-Generated Content (UGC) uploaded to account storage brackets is handled via explicit cloud rules sandboxing files inside private Google Cloud Storage partitions.

Crown Distribution: Files are accessible exclusively by the account token holder. However, using room sharing tools while holding "The Ruler Crown" authorizes the platform to safely proxy transient playback streams to connected participants for that specific session.

5. Third-Party Integrations & Advertising Data

The platform relies on established external nodes to facilitate commerce, stabilization, and ad-supported models:

Google AdMob Tracking: Free tiers utilize Google AdMob to display advertisements. Upon your initial launch, a standard platform consent overlay is presented, giving you the explicit right to accept or deny interest-based mobile advertising identifiers. Opting out forces AdMob to deliver basic, non-targeted contextual advertisements based on general app characteristics.

Outsourced Billing: Storefront operations, transaction flows, and tier upgrades utilize Stripe and Google Play Billing. Audio Realm never witnesses, intercepts, or retains payment card details or banking data on platform networks.

Podcast RSS Handshakes: Triggering synchronized podcast streams routes requests through proxy pathways to reach external index directories and public distribution domains. The target distribution hosts observe typical technical server requests to transmit the raw audio feed.

Firebase Diagnostics: System crash data, operating software versions, and network logs are standard background variables used to evaluate platform stability.

6. Definite Data Elimination

Immediate Purging: Users retain the explicit right to erase their presence logs. Utilizing the verified account deletion button executes a permanent wipe across all synchronized endpoints.

Removal Scope: Your Firestore profile data, transaction histories, and digital files stored inside user folders in Google Cloud Storage are immediately and unrecoverably destroyed.

7. Contact & Support

For any personal data registry concerns or direct questions regarding database parameters, the platform developer can be contacted through our standard support endpoints.
