Safety Standards & Child Protection Policy

Last Updated: September 2026 Safety Inquiries: [email protected] Platform: audiorealm.app

Zero Tolerance: Audio Realm maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE), grooming, and any form of minor endangerment.

1. Our Commitment to Child Safety

Audio Realm is dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and collaborative audiobook-listening environment. We strictly adhere to child safety regulations, international standards, and Google Play policies. We prohibit, condemn, and actively prevent any use of our services to exploit, harm, or target children.

2. Prohibited Conduct and Content

Users are strictly prohibited from creating, uploading, sharing, transmitting, or facilitating any content or communications involving:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE) in any format (audio, text, username, avatar metadata, or profile information).
  • Grooming or Predatory Behavior: Any attempt to solicit, entice, coerce, or build predatory relationships with minors.
  • Harmful Solicitation: Requesting, receiving, or distributing contact information, sexually explicit materials, or sensitive information from or regarding minors.
  • Endangerment and Bullying: Threatening, harassing, extorting, or exposing minors to danger or abusive conduct.

Any account found engaging in, facilitating, or promoting such behavior will be subjected to immediate, permanent termination, hardware/device blocking, and referral to law enforcement.

3. Built-In Safety Architecture & Safeguards

AudioRealm is intentionally engineered with privacy-by-design principles to minimize contact surface area and protect our community:

  • Friends-Only Communication: Users can only interact and join shared listening sessions with individuals explicitly confirmed on their mutual friends list. Unsolicited contact and stranger messaging are impossible by design.
  • No Public Discovery or Search: AudioRealm deliberately contains no public user directories, public member catalogs, or search algorithms, preventing malicious actors from browsing or targeting individuals.
  • Private, Access-Controlled Rooms: Virtual listening spaces are private, encrypted WebRTC environments. Room hosts maintain administrative authority to immediately evict or remove any participant.

4. Reporting Abuse and Safety Violations

We provide multiple, accessible channels for users and the public to report safety concerns, harassment, or suspected exploitation:

  • In-App Reporting: Users can tap on any connected account from their Friends list or room controls and select Report / Block. Reports submitted through this interface are flagged with high priority for administrative review.
  • Direct Point of Contact: Anyone can report safety violations, abuse, or legal concerns directly to our safety response team by emailing [email protected] with the subject line SAFETY REPORT.

All reports concerning child welfare and safety are prioritized for immediate review, triage, and resolution.

5. Enforcement & Mandatory Law Enforcement Cooperation

When an allegation or detection of CSAE, CSAM, or child endangerment occurs, Audio Realm executes the following mandatory protocol:

  • Immediate Account Revocation: Offending accounts are permanently banned immediately. All active session tokens and access rights are revoked.
  • Reporting to NCMEC: In compliance with federal and international standards, we report all confirmed or suspected incidents of CSAM/CSAE directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline.
  • Law Enforcement Collaboration: We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies, preserving necessary audit logs and data records where legally mandated to aid in criminal investigations and child rescue operations.
